Based on the suggestion from an earlier post : Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for large quantity of products in your online store. DCS client, eShopPC.com, asked for improvement of shopper’s user experience.

The improvement objectives are
1) shoppers want to see all available items with least clicking or scrolling
2) store manager want to systematically upload hundreds or thousands of item to the site

DCS offered solutions in
1) condensed table-style layout at the category level. Display hundreds of items with thumbnail images and specification in one page.
2) base on product’s nature, store manager may choose different display format to present a category
3) upload products in bulk with spreadsheet-like list
